TOMRA in final round of Europe's biggest business competition
TOMRA, headquartered in Asker, Norway, is hoping to be named a winner at the Grand Final of the European Business Awards on 22 and 23 May in Warsaw, Poland.
TOMRA has reached the final after being chosen as a national winner by independent judges from a list of almost 3000 businesses named “Ones to Watch” last year. The European Business Awards created the list after a review of over 110,000 European companies.
At the final in Poland, for the first time in the Awards’ 11-year history, each finalist will be judged live as they will have a stand to display their notable success, and 55 business experts will come from across Europe to decide the winners of the Awards’ 12 categories.
Alongside the public judging, the two-day event will include a range of clinics, seminars and workshops, run and moderated by subject experts. In addition, leading academics, politicians, ambassadors, and over 500 business leaders from the most successful organizations in Europe will be attending the event, many of whom acted as judges for the Awards.
“We are very proud to have been recognized as one of Europe’s best companies by the esteemed European Business Awards. It is an honor for the second time to be selected as a national winner for Norway and to have the opportunity to win the “Business of the Year Award with Turnover over €150M” category overall for Europe,” said Stefan Ranstrand, TOMRA President and CEO.
The European Business Awards’ primary purpose is to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe. For further information about the event in Warsaw visit www.businessawardseurope.com/summit2018.
